Native American Dancers Showcased

Cache JOM Indian Ed Program hosted a Native American Awareness Assembly.  Lucinda Poahway brought in Fancy Dancers, Jeremy LaPierre, Jaeden Poahway, Cayden LaPierre and Daniel Iruegas to perform to the drum led by Parker Emhoolah.   Cloth dancers Tasha Tahchawwickah, Kasey Long, Ruby Ahhaity & Larissa Smith signed the Lords Prayer sung acapella by Sarah Pohawpotchoko.   This was a great assembly to showcase Native American Heritage. All the dancers, singers and signers are currently Cache students and one graduate. We are very appreciative of Carmen Glenn who helped organize this event for our school district. All the dancers did a fabulous job and we enjoyed being included in one of the dances. Thank you for sharing!
