First day of School

Dear Cache Families,

It’s that exciting time of year again—Back to School! I hope this message finds you well-rested, recharged, and ready to begin the 2026–2027 school year with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

As we prepare to welcome our students back tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12

I want to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for the incredible dedication and passion our administrators, teachers, and staff bring to Cache Public Schools. It is truly a privilege to witness the commitment they demonstrate each day in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all students.

Tomorrow marks more than just the first day of school—it marks the beginning of a new chapter in the story of Cache. The first day will be filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement as students walk through our hallways and into classrooms full of opportunity and promise.

As with any new year, we know there will be challenges. In a district of our size, occasional obstacles are inevitable. However, our strength lies in our unity and our commitment to one another. This year, we proudly embrace the phrase "Cache Community"—a reflection of the collective spirit, resilience, and support that define who we are. Together, we will continue to uphold our core values: a laser focus on student success, a respectful and nurturing environment, and a student-centered approach to everything we do.

A quick but important reminder: the first day of school will bring increased traffic, especially along Cache Road. With over 2,300 students and staff members commuting to their buildings, we anticipate congestion during both drop-off and pick-up times. We kindly ask for your patience, courtesy, and cooperation as we navigate this together. Once routines are established, traffic flow will improve significantly.

Please yield to school buses and remember that it is both unlawful and unsafe to pass a school bus when its red lights are flashing, and the stop sign is extended. 

Despite the challenges we may face, one thing remains constant: Cache is an incredible place to live, learn, and grow. We are deeply grateful for your continued support and trust in Cache Public Schools. Your partnership is essential to our mission, and we are committed to making this school year an enriching, successful, and memorable experience for every student.
